How formulas, units, defaults, rounding, uncertainty, and reviews work.

Formula sources

Conversions use dimensional arithmetic; technical claims and planning defaults are linked to public government, standards, or manufacturer documentation in the relevant page and internal source register.

Units and defaults

Energy is expressed in Wh or kWh, power in W, charge in Ah, and runtime in hours. Efficiency and depth of discharge are decimal fractions internally. Form defaults are adjustable examples, not universal specifications.

Rounding and uncertainty

Calculations retain JavaScript number precision internally and show two decimal places. Ideal, typical, and conservative outputs communicate assumptions, not statistical confidence intervals.

Review process

A maintainer checks the formula, unit dimensions, validation, tests, example, references, and reviewed date. Source conflicts are disclosed or left as user inputs.

Corrections

Report an error through the Contact page with reproducible inputs and a reliable source. Substantive corrections require tests and review.
